Say goodbye to Flatiron Park and Allen Morris Park, which was voted the Best of Miami award once. The City of Miami is orchestrating a land swap with Mallory Kauderer – the developer of architect Enrique Norten’s Brickell Flatiron Building which is eventually being built on the Flatiron Park site. This will take place on 10th Street right around the corner from the would-be Brickell Flatiron Park.
Kauderer must first be approved by the Building & Zoning Board before getting this chunk of Allan Morris Park, which is next to his land, in exchange for the tippy tip of the triangular Flatiron site that was too narrow for him to build much on anyways.
We’ll keep this page updated as more information trickles out.
