The Miami Trolley hit the streets of Brickell with a special ceremony attended by Mayor Tomas Regalado. The City of Miami is hoping we “ditch the car and hitch a ride”.
According to the Miami Herald the Miami Trolley “will run every 15 minutes and take passengers on Biscayne Boulevard south from the Omni district, across the Miami River and to the end of the Brickell financial and residential district, with marked stops at every block.
The trolleys will also make three loops: one around Mary Brickell Village, another out to Brickell Key, and a third past Margaret Pace Park just north of the old Omni complex.”
