Radiohead looked great…when I could see them @ American Airlines Arena in Miami.

Radiohead played a mind blowing show last night in Miami at the American Airlines Arena to start their 2012 tour. Thom Yorke sounded awesome, ponytail on his head, and bouncing around stage. Jonny Greenwood flowed from instrument to instrument, creating sounds unique to the moment. It was, by all incredible show. It just had 1 glaring problem that can easily be fixed.

I was 1 of 1000’s of people who had my view blocked by the TV screens on stage during certain songs. (30% of the show I’d estimate)

While the 15+ on stage Screen idea, with awesome close up views of various band members is innovative to say the least, the placement of the screens must be adjusted.

For the sake of future Radiohead shows, hopefully the following will be considered:

1. Keep the screens high in the air, that way the band won’t be covered. (see image to the right)

2. When the screens are faced directly stage center, they don’t block the view.

3. Perhaps adding screens to the backside would make it look even better?

If you’re buying tickets for Radiohead in 2012 should consider floor seats or your view may be blocked by their screens.
